About
Counterpoint started in a quiet library during exam week. Sarah was (panicking) studying for one of many pre-med and music therapy exams, and started thinking about the future. Although the plan then was to go to medical school and help the community through being a physician, she wanted to do more. She realized she couldn’t wear all the hats she wanted to without spontaneously combusting…she couldn’t do it herself.
The solution? Scale and grow.
She decided that she wanted to start a nonprofit organization, and in order to do that, she needed to make money. A few google searches later, she found Bigger Pockets, and started learning about real estate! From there, Counterpoint was born.
“Counterpoint” is a musical term that depicts multiple melodies coming together as parts of a greater whole. Counterpoint Investments is a business that not only strives for excellence in the real estate world, but also strives to be a small part of the bigger ultimate goal: a nonprofit organization that will focus on community wellness.
How we got started…
Counterpoint is a multi-faceted real estate company that exists to provide creative housing solutions to current and prospective homeowners and renters in a way that exudes integrity, respect, kindness, creative problem solving, and a people-over-profit business model.
Sarah
CEO/OWNER
Sarah launched Counterpoint in early 2021. She is an enthusiastic problem solver, and loves finding creative ways to make a deal that involves everyone winning. Sarah currently resides in Atlanta, GA, where when she’s not running Counterpoint, she teaches and performs music, and enjoys dancing and hiking!
Ashton
LEAD ACQUISITIONS MANAGER
Ashton has been with Counterpoint since early 2022, where she started as a cold caller and quickly moved up to lead acquisitions manager. Ashton has a strategic mindset, and is always ready to find unique solutions to any problem that may arise. Ashton resides in Upstate SC, where she enjoys serving the community through volunteering at church.
Cain
ACQUISITIONS MANAGER
Cain has effectively utilized his background in property management and client relations to quickly become an impressive acquisitions and dispositions manager. Cain is an empathetic problem-solver, and is excellent at finding solutions for clients.. Cain resides in Atlanta, GA, where he teaches and performs music, and enjoys singing in the choir at church, and exploring nature.
